Creating a Post with no URL Visible

Hi, I´d like to understand if it´s possible to create posts with no URL visible in the post.

You write the text of the post, add a URL which creates a link `preview. Great. But in the final post you see the URL and the link preview. In the final post I´d like the user to see only the link preview and the text, NOT the URL. Is that possible? See examples of what of posts without URLs visible here: https://www.facebook.com/LanguageBlocks.abc/

Many Thanks!

    Hi @Cahalsi

Adam here from the Customer Support Team, Thank you for reaching out to us on our Forum!

Once you have selected the Facebook page from the drop down menu and entered the link in the compose message box, a link preview will appear for Facebook. If you wish, you can then delete the URL and the link preview will remain.

Please note the link URL will still appear in the link preview itself, but not in the text of the message. I have attached a screenshot for your review.

I hope this helps clarify, If you have any other questions, please let us know and we will gladly assist!

    Kind Regards,

  • Thanks Adam,
That's really helpful! One quick followup question: does that same pattern apply for LinkedIn, Twitter and other platforms, or just Facebook?

    Best,
    Alex
