How to use AutoSchedule
Instead of choosing specific times for messages to be sent to your selected social profiles, remove some of your daily stress by allowing Hootsuite to schedule the content on your behalf. Scheduling in this way lets you:
Save time (we all know how important that is).
Get valuable insight into what the most successful posting times are for your social accounts.
Reach high engagement on posts by sharing at top performing times, helping you gain more engagement on your posts.
How AutoSchedule Works
AutoSchedule chooses the right time to schedule your posts based on optimal engagement periods, content you’ve already scheduled, and your own custom AutoSchedule settings.
Customising your AutoSchedule Settings
Through the dashboard, choose the days and time frames between which your messages will be scheduled, along with the number of messages you’d like to schedule per day. All you have to do is go to Settings > AutoSchedule and you can select to post up to 10 messages a day, up to 7 days a week, and in a time frame of up to 24 hours.
Now that you’ve customized the settings for when your messages will be scheduled, you can go ahead and enable AutoSchedule through the Compose Box. This enables AutoSchedule for all of your connected social networks! If you prefer not to use AutoSchedule when posting to certain social networks, all you have to do is use the toggle option to turn it off.
If you use Hootlet to post to your social networks while outside of the Hootsuite dashboard, remember that enabling AutoSchedule in the Compose box also enables it in Hootlet.
And that’s it! You’re all set up to let Hootsuite choose the best time to schedule your messages. Here are a few more things to remember when using AutoSchedule:
AutoSchedule will schedule the same message to post once within your allocated time frame. It can’t be used to duplicate your posts.
If you use AutoSchedule to queue posts to multiple social networks, you can schedule posts to send at different times.
